Your Pet’s Health is in Good Hands
Veterinary Technician
About Me
I am an up and coming Veterinary Technician. I attended California State University Long Beach to achieve my Business Management degree to further my education and skills. I will also attend Veterinary Technician schooling to specialize in caring for animals. I hope to once again further my education and skills and expand into a specialized area. I have been a lifelong animal lover and my dream is to help as many animals and owners be as happy and healthy as possible.

Equine Health
In my many years of experience with Equine health I have had many horses to work with. Through my broad experience I have worked with Veterinarian Jamie Kerr to develop a base feeding and medicinal schedule that I will further customize for each client. I can provide customized equine diets that will be suited to best benefit your horse. An example diet I formulated for a 7 year old AQHA jumper gelding would be as follows, 1. morning flake of grass hay 2. afternoon grain consisting of joint support supplement, all around support grain, coat and skin health supplement. 3. evening one flake of alfalfa and one flake of grass hay 4. Every 3 months a round of sand clear to be done for colic prevention 5. Monthly rotation of average dose of dewormer to prevent parasite development.

Pet Mental Health
Formulated through my experience of shadowing veterinarians and gaining their input I have learned a basic plan of how to keep your dog mentally sound. Pets lives are limited to what we expose them to and it is quite easy for them to become bored or unhappy with this routine. Below I will provide simple tips and tricks to contribute to your dogs mental well being. 1. Walk your dog often and take new routes or explore new areas 2. Socialize your dog, take him through town or bring him to a dog friendly patio. 3. Provide companionship. Either pairing your pet up by adding a dog to your family, adding a cat or other pet, or take him to the dog park or playdates often. 4. Change up your dogs food slightly by adding approved food substitutes like chicken and rice, eggs, or a little bit of homemade gravy. 5. Add new toys and beds periodically to remove old scents and stimulate your dog with new presences around the house.
